Whales in Hawaii and Happy Hour in Waikiki at Tommy Bahama….Rooftop Dining
Whale watching is one of the most amazing experiences you can have on a winter trip to Hawaii. Boarding a Pink Sails catamaran in downtown Waikiki was one of our favorite experiences to date. whales breaching all around our boat kept us entertained the entire time. If you are visiting Oahu, hop on board and experience the joy of nature watching whales swim and play up close and personal.
With so many options for happy hour around town, we chose Tommy Bahama in the heart of Waikiki for a post whale watching dinner. Tommy Bahama has a nice happy hour menu so you can sample anything from macadamia encrusted goat cheese to some sweet island wings. Located on the 2nd and 3rd floor of the Tommy Bahama store, with both a sand and fire pit, you can fully enjoy the island music and pairings.

WATERFALLS | FARMER’S MARKET | BOTANICAL GARDENS | LOCAL FOOD IN HAWAII
Waimea Valley
Waterfall 0:33-1:35
Food Review: 1:50-8:00
Farmer’s Market 8:01-9:32
Waimea Valley is the only place on the island of O’ahu where you can go on a paved hike, see traditional Hawaiian games and hales(houses), jump in a waterfall, view some of the most beautiful flowers on the island, and eat some of the coolest food at a funky farmer’s market….oh yeah, you can even attend a luau at night!
Waimea Valley is known as the “Valley of the Priests” and is not only a beautiful spot on the island of O’ahu, but a very spiritually rich area as well. Every few feet upon entering the valley, you will see plaques with descriptions of each area you are viewing. The flowers, birds, and trees are stunning on the hike to the waterfall which is paved and easily accessible for people with strollers or scooters. There is also a cart that can transport people unable to walk the duration towards the falls.
