CHEAP EATS HAWAII | FOOD IN HAWAII | SUSHI UNDER $5
Cheap Sushi in Hawai’i…Is it Good?????

Everyone knows a trip to Hawaii can really add up!!!! But eating out whether you’re visiting Hawaii or living here, doesn’t have to break your budget. While the thought of cheap food, especially sushi, may sound scary at first, rest assured Sushi Bay in Kapolei is the place to visit.

Their menu ranges from $1.95 to $10.95 and they offer everything from sushi, sashimi, vegetarian options and cooked selections as well.

The Japanese scallops in a spicy garlic sauce along with fresh ocean salad are a must. Their rainbow roll offers a blend of salmon, ahi tuna, and avocado.

If you’d like to try some local fare, their fresh poke hits the spot. Poke is cubed ahi tuna plucked fresh from the ocean mixed with shoyu(a sauce similar in taste to a sweet dog and teriyaki combo). The poke is put over white rice and topped with thinly sliced onions and scallions. It’s a perfect lunch to be enjoyed at the beach or at home

If you’re staying in Ko’olina or anywhere else on Oahu, Sushi Bay is worth the visit.

Cheap GOOD eats are possible in Hawaii!!!!!

Chinatown Hawai’i……Food Vlog…Where to Eat…Fete

Visiting Hawaii and finding a place to eat can sometimes be a daunting task.

Our channel does what we can to take the guesswork out of “Where should we for dinner?”

Today we bring you a first, in our series of Top Eats in Chinatown.

In this episode, we take you to Chef Maii’s “Hapa baby” Fete.

Fete has a wide variety of skillfully combined dishes that honor both local flavors and pay homage to the many great chefs she has worked with. While we thoroughly enjoyed her KFC(Korean Fried Chicken) sandwich and her Milanese risotto, we have to accommodate her excellent dessert choices. Her sorbetto brought me back to the streets of Firenze and her bombolini were reminiscent of many a carnivale.

If you’re on Oahu, make Fete a “must try” for your lunch or dinner plans.

Call ahead for reservations or to see wait time, especially during current times.
