HAWAIIAN TRADITIONAL FOOD AND STREET ART: Authentic Beef Stew, Poi, Pipikaula, Haupia & More – P2

Aloha ? We are going to a restaurant that serves traditional Hawaiian food… and just so happens, to serve the people in Hawaii for 75 years! The Highway Inn Restaurant at Kaka’ako. Kaka’ako is an urban area in Honolulu that is known for its street art, hip vibes, Farmer’s Market, and the park is lovely to picnic at.

But right in the center of it all, is my favorite Hawaiian Restaurant. In this video, we are going to be eating Traditional Hawaiian food, Kulolo, and onolicious Hawaiian pancakes drizzled in Ube sauce ?

Locations of the restaurant and places nearby are down below?

Food items and prices are included as well. Don’t forget to check out the original Highway Inn location in Waipahu. I’ll leave the website and address there too! I think I have everything covered now. Please leave me a comment under this video if there’s a food place I should check out. I might review it in a future video ☺️

Maybe The Best Hawaiian Food On Oahu: Waiahole Poi Factory

Waiahole Poi Factory is a small, take-out operation on the Windward side of Oahu. Technically, it’s still in Kaneohe, though it’s not very far from Hauula. They do have, without a doubt, some of the freshest poi on the island because they hand-pound it every day there. But they also have some really top-notch examples of traditional Hawaiian foods: Chicken Long Rice, Laulau, Lomi Lomi Salmon, Kalua Pig, and more. They are known for a dessert they make from Kulolo and Haupia Ice Cream, called “Sweet Lady of Waiahole.” On an exploration of the Windward side, we stopped at the poi factory and got some of their specialties.
